Our popular People's Choice Awards will be held at the award-winning Flutes Cafe during the Margaret River Wine Region Festival this November.

There is no better location to hold this fun-filled Festival event. The magnificent views out over the lake and immaculate Brookland Valley vineyards are among the most glorious anywhere in Margaret River. Flutes Cafe has won the American Express Best Country Restaurant Award several times and has become a dining icon in Willyabrup for its casual, yet elegant style.

For those who have not joined us in Margaret River for the Awards in the past, we urge that you do so this Saturday 20 November. The awards allow wine devotees to pit their skills against one another in a show judging environment. All the wines are sourced in Margaret River and are of a recognised, consistent high standard. The winning wines in the previous two events were the Vasse Felix Shiraz and the Devil's Lair Chardonnay - which is further proof of the outstanding wines entered in the competition.

This year the event is sponsored by the Perth Sunday Times, which has also become the major sponsor of the Wine Festival, so both will be receiving wide coverage and exposure.

The People's Choice Awards starts at 11am and is followed by an an exquisite lunch in the restaurant. The competition wines, as well as the outstanding Brookland Valley selection, will be served.
