If for some
odd reason you were cast away on a desert island, and given a choice
of six Margaret River reds to ward off the ennui, the preceding
half dozen would undoubtedly turn your island sojourn into a little
piece of heaven.
For here are
six glorious reds which have become the accepted benchmarks of excellence
both in Margaret River - and anywhere else, for that matter. Five
brilliant cabernets dominate the selection, however the Vasse Felix
Shiraz is a sure sign that the variety is undergoing a quiet revolution
on the Cape. With time, wonderful things will happen.
But why wait
to be marooned? We can supply this outstanding half dozen right
now. Just give us a call or fill out our order form.

| This
renowned wine features lifted red currant and spicy oak characters,
rich mulberry and earthy flavours, and seamless soft tannins.
It has good mouth-feel, balanced acidity and a subtle smoky
oak finish. Wonderful drunk young for its fruity appeal, but
an absolute treat with 10 years cellaring. |
