These are quality wines made from 100% Margaret River fruit, produced and bottled exclusively for the Margaret River Regional Wine Centre. The wines are 1999 Unwooded Chardonnay, which features a delightful ripe melon and stonefruit nose and rich full-bodied palate; and the 1999 Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc which has a fresh citrus/herbal/cut hay nose, grape and passion fruit palate; and our hearty new red, blended from classic Margaret River varieties. We are delighted to announce a budget red at long last! 1997 Dunsborough Hills $15.00 per bottle, $168.00 per case. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz and Grenache. Aged in French and American oak, this easy drinking red with a lovely soft finish on the palate exemplifies the art of blending different batches of fruit to achieve consistent style that gives great value for money. On a Personal Note - Kay and Ron Macfarlane are delighted to announce the birth of their first grandchild, Scully Bernard, on 19 October to son Andrew and daughter-in-law Gae Anne.
