Flying Fish Cove winery is situated 25km north of the Margaret river town site, along Caves Road in the renowed Wilyabrup area. Next door to the winery is the Flying Fish Cove vineyard - a 20 hectare vineyard planted in 1997 by several shareholders.

In 2000 a group of 20 grape growers in the region invested in the construction of the Flying Fish Cove winery, which carried out its first vintage in 2001. In 2005 it fully processed over 260 tonnes for the brand. Continued...

Tasting Notes

A lively un-oaked blend of Margaret River grown Sangiovese, Nebbiolo and a touch of Cabernet comes to life with a rich purple colour complimented by crimson tones. Aromas of cherry with underlying savoury characters and dried herbs lift from the glass.
The rich chewy palate has fruit flavours that pave the way for the dusted tannin profile these varieties are renowned for.
