Chalice Bridge Estate can be found 16 kms south east of the Margaret River township among rolling hills and valleys which are home to the beautiful Jarrah and Marri trees that the south west of Western Australia is famous for. It is now well recognised that the best grapes are grown in the gravelly loam deep drained soils where these magnificant trees grow. With 300 acres under vines, Chalice Bridge boasts one of the largest single planting in the Margaret River region, on which the six major premium varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Chardonnay, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc are planted. Tasting Notes

Appearance is dark mulberry.
Nose is Fragrant spices of black pepper and star anise combine with juicy blackberry, ripe plums and blueberry fruit with a hint of chocolate.
Palate has Vibrant juicy ripe fruit of mulberries and fresh currants. A touch of Chinese five spice balances the fruit and leads to a savoury bright and expressive finish. Rich and intense the flavours are long and savour.
Food Pair with Pan seared duck confi t served with a leafy garden salad.
